As Y!A deleted my question with the links to the addons to block that Gap ad, I've tried reposting the links in the questions asked about the ad but I continually get an error page when I try posting it. I guess Y!A is not above censorship.

The problem isn't the GAP..its the format of which they had chose to do the ad as Its friggen annoying! and sure wont make me want to buy any clothes from them.

I guess they would rather drive potential customers away then gain some.

I HATE that Gap ad. =/
well, naturally. they know that Gap is probably monitoring the site making sure that their ad is running properly.

they wouldn't want their client to see how annoyed peeps are with their ad, nor would they want to see ways posted to subvert the advertisement which Gap has PAID for.

there's an easier way: go to tools, manage add ons, and disable shockwave flash object...that will kill it, no downloading required :)
Thanks, bud, I hate that ad too. Especially when you are listening to something on your computer and you hear two people talking over it.
