How can I fix my DS Lite?

Ouch that looks pretty nasty, but I can't tell from the photo which part is broken where, if you could take a closer pic maybe that would help? It might be that you just need to get a new hinge - if it's a clean break I mean. In that case I'm sure nintendo will send you one (although probably not for free) but it shouldn't be expensive at all. If not it might be a case of super plastic glue which will literally bind the two plastics by melting them. quick fix - sticky tape. It'll give you ds a sense of character :)

Weird... the EXACT same thing happened to my cousin's DS. I dunno though... if it broke within warranty, you're in luck. If not... sorry, man. Buy a new one.

You should try to cause the least amount of stress to it in the time being. My cousin tried playing it by holding the screen and she snapped a wire. No more top screen.
I have one...DO NOT TOUCH IT!! If that has happened naturally, meaning, you dropped it or something, then you should be golden. Call Nintendo of America, and explain how it happened. If you're within the 1 year warranty, they'll most likely ship you a new one...FOR FREE. But as long as you didn't tamper with it or do anything to void the warranty, you should be fine.
