Well yes, opera is a very professional browster to download but...... I would advise firefox over opera. firefox would most definately be reccomended by anyone who has ever used it. www.mozilla.com And yes, it is 100% safe.

Opera Mini for Treo 750???

I downloaded the opera mini from my phone browser and it put a file in my documents folder on the phone (mini 1.11k), but nothing changed when I view a web page. So then I went to the opera web site and downloaded the file specifically for my phone (opera-mini-4... 249k) and transfered it to the same folder, but still nothing. These are not exe files. Am I missing something? Why is it not working?

I am running XP Media Center 2002 which is factory installed. I created a recovery disk and to my surprise it had some version of Linux on it. I am not mistaken by this and the CD was new and empty when I made the recovery disk. I have not checked out yet what Linux version it is but will do so when I have some extra time. The computer manufacturer probably decided to use a Linux based program to run the recovery software to ensure that viruses would not be able to infect the recovery software.

I had MSN through Qwest and it got turned off and then they turned it back on..their fault like usual. Anyhow I could not use the MSN anymore and only internet explorer is working??? It sucks. I don't like it and don't know how to get rid of it. I have complained and they can't figure out the problem. And I am paying out the *** for it....
The only browsers that are truly viable there is Opera and Firefox.

I personally use Firefox and Internet Explorer. I am being more swayed towards Internet Explorer however due to the massive amounts of memory that Firefox has been using recently.

Earlier today my PC was running slow so I did ctrl alt delete to find out why. Firefox was using up 140MB or memory. Why does a browser need so much especially when I only had 2 tabs open.

why in god's teeth do you want flash in opera? why not download macromedia (get flash there) in windows? for some obscure reason you need/want opera (fair enough) but you don't need opera to use flash.

Opera Mini is a fantastic piece of software, i have it installed in most of my phones. It converts websites that are readable on a mobile phone. It can be a bit restrictive, if you download the generic version it wont support downloads. Always download the Opera mini which is compatable with your phone. The best way to use Opera Mini is have a data bundle. Opera mini will save you money, as you dont download as much data with it.

My husband and I always stay at the K%26amp;K Hotel. It is wonderful.
there's a newish travelodge just round the corner for cheap %26amp; not so cheerful, you should get into the Radisson at seven dials for under 锟?00, St Martins Lane hotel has just been tarted up and would be about 锟?0 more. but if you dont mind a stroll over the river then County Hall (at the london eye/south bank/festi hall) is now a decent value travel inn (from 锟?0 if you book early) and mariott (锟?25ish) - if it were me i'd stay there and enjoy the best view in london, walking over waterloo bridge at night, have fun!

Opera is the most full-featured and is not-to-arguably the most secure browser around. I'm not sure why Yahoo cannot or will not recognize Opera in its default user agent identification. It would be nice for Yahoo to speak out transparently about this. It's just silliness for now.

Make sure you have mouse gestures enabled for this in Opera: Click Tools -%26gt; Preferences-%26gt;Advanced -%26gt; Shortcuts (on left pane) -%26gt; Now on the right pane make sure 'enable mouse gestures' is ticked. If its unchecked, then check it and hit OK. Now see if the mouse gestures work!

If it is already checked, then try this: Type in 'opera:config' (without quotes) in the address bar of Opera. Here in the quick find box, type in 'gesture threshold' (w/o quotes). This should be set to 5 (which is default)...if you want set this to a lower number for instance 3. What this means is that only if your mouse gesture is 5 pixels or more, will the gestures work. If this is set to a higher number, then set it at 5 and click 'save'

Just a thought, hope you are doing the gestures right...like for instance in the window gestures described on that page, click and hold right mouse button and then move the mouse as indicated.

Your standard_mouse.ini file could be corrupt if still gestures won't work. Upgrade your Opera version if you are using any betas...or uninstall Opera cleanly and reinstall either Opera 9.20 or 9.21

Make sure you aren't using any beta versions of Opera. Get either Opera 9.20 or 9.21

When you are visiting a website that you can add, you will notice downward-facing triangle in the search bar will turn green and get larger.

use internet explorer 6 or 7 and type cnet in your search bar (not your address bar) and then go to cnet downloads. once there, on the left side you should see a list of options, pick browsers. Then just scroll through all the browsers listed until you find what your looking for. Firefox should let you do the same thing but there are times when your trying to download programs they might require IE6 or 7.

This is not a actually a question, but I'd thought I'd try to make some buzz about this to get this solved.

I have this tiny, stupid little problem while using the Opera web browser ( http://opera.com/ ). I can't select a category to fill my questions in! Or, I can do the selection, but Yahoo! Answers don't recognize my selection as a selection.

So to post this, I had to fire up the Safari browser to be able to select a category!

Anyone else got this problem in Opera?鈥?/p>

Opera Mini for NOkia 6230i?

Dear all!

Could someone help me with a problem of using mini opera on Nokia 6230i. I've read many forums and many people have similar problems with Nokia 6230i and Mini Opera.

Problem is with connection to internet. All GPRS settings are ok and everything works if use standart phone WAP browser, but Mini Opera doesn't work. When connecting to any web page, it connects very long time and at the end says that "You do not have a working network connection" (error t120)

I've tried to get these Internet connection setup from manufacturer (http://www.opera.com/products/mobile/doc... but Mini Opera still doesn't work.

Could someone help and advice what is the problem???

You cannot delete your 'my opera community' account. If you don't want to use it anymore, just remove all the info from your profile and make your settings private and stuff. For example login and click on 'my account' . Now click on 'access rights'. Here change the access rights.

Stop using your account and eventually Opera will delete the abandoned accounts after a period of inactivity.

Alternatively, you could be abusive on the Opera forums and the mods will ban your account lol (i'm serious)

Do you mean STRIGILS like in various insect groups?

If it is strigils you are looking for, then the "combs" you are referring to are located on various body parts in different insect groups. In grasshoppers, the strigils are located on the hind legs and on the outer surface of the forewings.

In katydids, the strigils are all located on the forewings.

Water boatmen also have strigls, these are located on the forelegs and on the head.

Crickets are one of the insects with strigils (yea, sorry about stridulator - shouldn't it be stridulation organ?). I made photos of their wings - with help of microscope and I can see there sth what looks like a comb. I only want to know if it is it. Photos are not good but the main string you can see on them looks a little bit like a comb.

Me again. I wish i would have seen what species you were taking photos of before i answered your last question. Seeing as you are looking at Aceta domestica, the strigils (stridulating organ) would be on the inside surface of the forewings. Because these crickets do not use the typical leg-to-wing method to produce their sound, you might want to tear off the forewings, and flip them upside down, then look at the outer-inside edge of the forewings.

Like I mentioned earlier, the strigils you will be looking for should be comb shaped or washboard shaped in appearance, just look around carefully, you'll find them!

It depends on your application. Some websites only read well with IE5.5 or higher. IE is more susceptible to virus attacks because it is far more popular and utilized than other browsers.

Opera is my choice. It has the most features/applications built right in which are integrated very well. It has ingenious design and looks the best, also. Opera makes me more efficient than the other browsers because it enables me to do so many things without the need for extra applications, 3rd-party extensions, etc. The consistent interface, mouse gestures, keyboard shortcuts for mail, notes, browsing, newsgroups, newsfeeds, etc. make it a wonderful package, indeed. The competition is playing catch-up in terms of overall power and quality in my estimation. Now if the public would only wake up and see Opera for what it truly is.....

The first area was Erzurum, Van and Bitlis Vicinities which formed the rear part of the Caucasian - Iran Front; and the second was Mersin - Iskenderun Region which formed the rear part of the Sina Front. In both of these regions, Armenians had collaborated with the enemy and involved in activities to facilitate the enemy?s invasion.

Later, the scope of the immigration was widened in order to include the Armenians in the other provinces, who rioted, collaborated with the enemy and screened the activities of Armenian Gangs. Although the Catholic and Protestant Armenians were excluded from immigration at the beginning, later those whose harmful activities were observed, were also relocated.

Since 1915, numerous papers, reports, books, etc. were written and published about the immigration implementation. The Armenians, by using false documents have succeeded to deceit the World for a long time. The rumor about Armenian holocaust (!) which expressed at first as three hundred thousand and later increased to three million has no basis at all. In fact, although English and French authorities have extensively studied the Ottoman archives during their occupation in Istanbul have failed to find even a single document hinting about such holocaust.

Had the Ottoman State intended to make genocide on Armenians; could not they realize such an act at the places where the Armenians live? Why would it be necessary ?to immigrate? them for such an intention? Why did they undertake the significant fiscal and material costs of their security, safety, health and food of the immigrating Armenians? During this immigration and re-settlement process which lasted approximately 1,5 year from May 1915 until October 1916, why would the central and local administrations take measures to ensure the lives and properties of Armenians in spite of the difficult war circumstances? In addition, would it be necessary to accept great administrative, military and financial burden ?as if opening a new front- to protect and secure these people?

The answers to these questions shall be sufficient to understand the real intention of the Ottoman State. Also there is no logical explanation that why the Ottoman State suddenly changed its policy towards a community which had always been called as ?millet-i sadika? (loyal people) due to their being really faithful to the Government. Hence the party whose attitude had changed was not the Ottoman Government, but the Armenians who were deceived by the independence promises of Russia and the Entente States.

In conclusion, it can be said that the Armenian Immigration which was a necessary measure to ensure the State Security and Safety is among one of the most

successful transportation and re-settlement processes; and has no intention whatsoever to annihilate Armenians.

It's alright. I'm not a big fan of the mermaid tail-style dress. The bust part of the dress is shaped weirdly. If I were able to alter that dress, I'd ditch the mermaid tail, and then just make it a floor length gown.

Ouch that looks pretty nasty, but I can't tell from the photo which part is broken where, if you could take a closer pic maybe that would help? It might be that you just need to get a new hinge - if it's a clean break I mean. In that case I'm sure nintendo will send you one (although probably not for free) but it shouldn't be expensive at all. If not it might be a case of super plastic glue which will literally bind the two plastics by melting them. quick fix - sticky tape. It'll give you ds a sense of character :)
